Tourist path of the Beni Salah Nature Reserve
  This circuit is dedicated to scientific tourism. Given the particularity of the Beni Salah Nature Reserve which is subject to the regulations of protected areas, in accordance with Law No. 11-02 of February 17, 2011, relating to protected areas, in the context of sustainable development, in particular the central area dedicated to scientific research, object of this circuit, which was developed with the coordination of the forest conservation services.          The Beni Salah Nature Reserve occupies an area of ​​80,000 hectares, extending between the wilayas of El Tarf, Souk Ahras and Guelma, to the Tunisian borders. Classified as a nature reserve since 2015. It is a destination for university students and professors from various scientific disciplines, in particular biology, to carry out scientific research on various themes : on plants, wild animals, birds and insects, available in the nature reserve.           The floral and fanal wealth of the nature reserve are enormous, including cork oak, beech, pine and eucalyptus, the flora varies between wild animals, birds and insects. The nature reserve is also home to the last herds of Barbary deer from North Africa, considered endangered, and protected in Algeria since 1982. The forest of Beni Saleh is also rich in the most beautiful species of cork in the world, marketed locally and abroad.
